Tom's Market & Meats started out on the corner of Main St. and Harrison Ave.  That's right, it was known for many years as Naifeh's.  When Tom purchased Naifeh's he already had a strong commitment to great meat, great service and value-priced groceries.  Tom and Becky purchased Naifeh's in 1993 and changed the name to Tom's Market & Meats in 2005. 

The new location was opened in May 2006.  Tom's commitment to quality and service are seen throughout the store.  Some things you don't see are how friendly to the enviroment the newer Tom's Market & Meats....

There is an energy efficient heat recovery system.  In the winter, this provides clean and low-cost heating.  In the summer, this same system reverses and provides energy efficient cooling.  The floors are embedded with color.  No harsh chemicals are ever used to strip, wax or clean.  Just enviromentally friendly cleaners.

The walls of the building were poured on-site.  No trucking concrete walls from far away.  The local contractor Carl A. Nelson Co. provided the manpower and brain-power for a great locally built project.
